This amp was bought off of Audiogon with the following information: This Hafler DH 220 power amplifier is rated at 115 watts per channel into 8 ohms at .012% THD between 20 Hz and 20 KHz. This is not a kit. It was built at the factory and includes the DH 222 bridging kit to enable mono operation. It had the power supply rebuilt using a brand new diode bridge, filter capacitors, wiring, and connectors. There is now 35,000 microfarads of filtering available as opposed to the original 10,000 microfarads. Polypropylene bypass capacitors are also used. The fixed AC power cord will now accept a standard SJ power cord so that aftermarket units can be used. The input jacks and the output binding posts have been upgraded as well. The unit has been rewired so that the "speaker" fuses will protect the amplifier but they are not in the signal path as they originally were when the amplifier came from the factory. This amplifier has been measured at ~300 watts RMS into an 8 ohm load when in mono mode. The amplifier sounds very good The unit weighs approximately 26 lbs. with shipping weight listed at 30 lbs. according to the owners manual.
